The ES Rock Fest dawn s with explosive Hard Rock Friday, which sets the scene for energetic Rock ‘n Roll Saturday. The festival concludes with laid-back Sunny Acoustic Rock Sund ay.  

Pretoria , South Africa, October, 6, 2008 – The ES Rock Fest prou dly presents the SA renowned rock band aKING all the way from Cape Town as the headline feature of this years Spring ES Rock Fest on the 25^th October.

Amid st the Pretoria and Jo Burg locals, will be stunning jam-sessio ns of various styles of rock with a range of energetic punk, rock ‘n roll grunge to casual acoustic rock. Just one of our supreme Jo burg acoustic-r eggae-rock bands is Tidal Waves who will be headlining the 26^th October Acoustic Rock Sunday Show.

The 24^th October Hard Rock Frid ay at Zeplin’s in Pretoria is heat that gets you pumping with Scarlet Box, Namuh, D-day Forever, Prevail a nd He Sha Burn which are all from in and around Pretoria .

Among the great local melodic rock n roll band s that will be accompanyi ng the weekends hit feature aKING, on Saturday 25^th at Maloney’ s in Hatfield, is Elaborate Station, Errand of Mercy, Leef and L.A. Cobr a.

The 26^th October is cue for the Spring ES Rock Fest’s conclusion which is to be held at the favored Centurion venue known as Ridgeback Village on Jean Avenue.  “ It’s a privilege to bring the fest back to Centur ion.” Scenery ‘unplugg ed,’ Black Cat Bone, D-day Forever ‘unplugg ed’ is followed by a special acoustic solo jam session with Laudo who is the lead vocalist from aKIN G, Monya, vocalist from Elaborate Station and our famous Jenna from Scarlet B ox. To cool us down to the grand crescendo of Spring ES Rock Fest’s Sunny Aco ustic Rock Sunday, there is nothing but an excuse to relax and take it easy with Tida l Waves as they take us into sunset and conclude a weekend of celebratio n of all original South African rock talent.

One very essential trait of the ES Rock Fest will be its strong emphasis on the quality of production especially in the area of sound…� �Although fun and entertainm ent is essential, quality is no except ion!”

It's official: "Time Traveller" , the new album by The Wimshurst' s Machine is out now! 37 tracks, 2 CDs, more than 120 minutes of award- winning music with an 18 pages booklet (with a short novel in italia n, the song lyrics and the marvelous arts of the Spectrum Artist 20 06 Daniele Scerra). We are absolutely proud of it! :-)
In this album, mastered by TCREC in Torino, Italy (the same who were also mastering the "Eiffel65" ) we feature also several great musician friends from around the world, such as Corrado Rossi, Lisa & KMP, DCal len, Gamma Leonis, Scott Hill & Mediterran ea, Queenie, Andrea Fe rroni and Trulala! We are particular ly proud of the great work they have made with us and we thanks them for the great experience that was to work with them!

yes its true, we have jumped on the bodog battle band wagon (literally , HAH the pun) and why wouldnt you want to see princess riot on t.v.? were so animated and ready for the choas of the music business its shame we arnt there already. waiting for the right time? oh yes. but to succeed in this battle were going to need the help of everyone else but ourselves. and unfortunat ly it is the grueling task of.....yup .....wait for it......*V OTING!* (backgroun d noise: screaming dieing woman, car crash, zombies) but its not that bad at all, it'll just take you a minute to do so. so if your loving princess riot and want to support the fact that they want music as their careers cause they suck at everything else, heres how you do it:

in other news: jules is single and doesnt give a flying rats ass if your a pretty young boy with good intentions . vals wardorb has massivley expanded due to her new job, turns out we have a prom king in the band: darcy, and lindz?.... yup, still emo. the doctors did everything they could but turns out the prognosis is: its permadent. but from something so stupid can only come something so great! song writting! weve been writting and practcing lots to make a great live show, no shows booked but there will be a few more before we head to the studio for the full album:D yes, were shitting fritters in excitement for it! the rough album has been selling very well too so thanx to everyone for the support and we hope your enjoying the songs!
